The Process

Imagine the awe and excitement from your guests, seeing a live artist, and watching a painting unfold for the first time ever for some of them.

My process begins with arriving two hours early to soak in the atmosphere and begin painting the background and to set the scene for which the couple will beautifully be.

As your day unfolds, so does your painting, capturing the essence of your special moment.

This live art experience adds an extraordinary touch to your celebration, engaging your guests and offering them a unique form of entertainment.

The grand finale? A breathtaking reveal of the final painting, a moment of shared awe and wonder, leaving you with a masterpiece to take home and an heirloom to look at for decades to come, and something to even pass on.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • On your special day, I will use high quality, archival water-based acrylics. This is to ensure I can layer and your painting dries enough to take it back to the studio. When I get to the studio, I use luxurious oil paints that will give your painting a beautiful luscious final layer with all those gorgeous details.

  • Yes! I can paint from high quality photograph, and we can get in touch about pricing since I won’t be live painting.

  • I can paint for your corporate event, gala, a shop opening, celebratory event, birthday and baby shower! These paintings are a beautiful way to honor the day, as well as bring a different type of activity to any event.

  • We can work out something that works for both of us, but I always request 100% by the date of the event.

  • Yes! I charge a travel stipend of $1000, which is compensatory of time spent traveling, meals, gas for the rental car, and other expenses which arise in the process of traveling. This stipend is not required for weddings located at a driving distance of less than 2 hours from my home studio. If it is required that I ship the painting back to the studio to complete, then shipping + handling and insurance will also be added to you proposal.

  • Once we confirm that I am available for your date, we will schedule an initial introductory meeting, either via phone call or email. Then I will create a custom proposal for you based on the information gathered during our first meeting. I will send you a contract and invoice for a retainer of $1000USD. A signed contract and completed retainer payment will secure your date on my calendar. 

  • I offer extras such as custom framing, bouquet paintings, digital files of the work and more. I am proud to support our active military, first responders like police and firemen, and teachers and nurses by offering an exclusive discount to any of the above. Please mention your job title in your inquiry, and please prepare to provide a valid ID.
